All they had to do was look at the news paper, even the day after the accident, they were telling people it was a different company......
Kinda like how I haven't seen an ad for Novictor in a while, but now there are very similar looking ones for a new company called Rainbow? :hmm: |
helonorth, factual information rather than media beat up. Headlines of a forced landing could be down to anything ranging from a prudent landing following a main transmission chip to running out of fuel. Rarely do the media let the facts spoil a good story, media berated an air force because a number of fighter bombers on a ferry flight refused to take off in the middle of a thunderstorm. Pussies or prudent? Safe or unsafe? How does a layperson judge? Decades ago there was a report of a four engined Cessna crashing with the loss of some forty lives. While Cessna did build a four engined aircraft it was a Twin Otter with some twenty on board. Trust google at your peril.

"Decades ago, the media got some stuff wrong so trust the internet at your peril". We are living in the stupidest of times.

This case was finally heard at a Nevada court and the parents of Jonathan Udall received an out of court settlement of £79 million. They intend to use a chunk of the money to promote safety in helicopters especially self sealing fuel tanks, which they believe would have saved many lives in the crash.

No one said it has to be a big chunk of money.
