Military heli flying to CPL(H)

Hello everyone.

I needed some help in transitioning from military flying to flying in the civil...
I have flown helicopters Alouette III and SA 315B Lama in military and have 1174 total hrs with 650 hrs as PIC. I haven't flown in last one year.

Now i have moved from my home country to Europe, and wish to start working on obtaining a CPL(H) with the final aim of becoming a FI.
Can someone please help in guiding me with the steps, exams and hrs criterion. I will be very grateful for the help.

Happy Landings...

Pretty straight forward:

No CAA will recognize your military hours-as simple of that.

There should be an agreement between your military and your CAA at home how to convert your military license to a civil license.

With that civil license you can then apply for a EASA one, and will get feedback from a local european ATO what you need to do in terms of theoretical exams and skill tests...

Anywhere between one combined exam and one checkflight, and all 14 exams and 200 hours of flying training...
