H175 NLG Failure

Heard from a bloke in Aberdeen that an H175 (Babcock?) had a NLG failure yesterday and they had to put it down on sandbags?

It was a CHC machine.

I believe there was a full ‘landing gear unsafe’ exercise planned for around now in Aberdeen, not sure if this is related or not.

It was a CHC Scotia H175 and the aircraft is still sitting on bags outside surrounded by vehicles (I guess to prevent photographs judging by the position of the vehicles). It certainly wasn't an exercise as the nose leg was definitely "bent".
