Sad and ultimately rather bitter: Schweizer et al v. Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation

Of course, Sikorsky's interest in the S-333 platform waned once the U.S. Navy decided to switch the Fire Scout program to the larger MQ-8C, based on the Bell 407 Fire-X platform. The S-434 program also failed to achieve any sales beyond the Saudi government, and even that customer "returned several of the four-bladed turboshaft helicopters because they were wearing out before the end of their estimated service lives."

Don't forget all the X2 work that was done in Elmira in the $15 million upgraded completions/Hawk Works in 2007
Not true - all the X2 work was done at the legacy Schweizer building by Schweizer employees, and a few Sikorsky guys.

Being the general reference for the facility as a whole, RPMDCC was usually used to refer to that building before the upgrade as well.

I'm familiar with the acronym for the Military Derivative Completion Center but you lost me on RP. I didn't know anybody back east had them confused. When I went out to Schweizer I still had a big network from the mother ship - 16 years full time there plus another 4 between being a security guard and a co-op. Back to the thread though, I hope they are successful.
