Toll backs an AW139 into a Tree
Heard on the grapevine that Toll was conducting winch training near Lucas Heights and accidentally backed into a tree.
AW wouldn't let them ferry out, so they needed to call in a bulldozer to clear a path to the grounded bird to allow it to be trucked out. Anyone got pictures? |
Good call I say. Why risk flying a damaged aircraft?
A good friend of mine over torqued a Lynx at Merryfield. It came back to Yeovilton on a low-loader. The banter was high but no one was hurt. :ok: Cheers FP |
90 per cent of TOLL truck incidents involve reversing into a fixed object. Is this indicative of company ethos.

Seems if this did occur that it's been kept very quiet? Have still only hard rumours, nothing on ATSB?
