AH 175 Customer
HeliHub.com New era on North Sea as oil company buys two H175s buys-helicopters/
An interesting concept but as the article says, Babcock are not unused to such an arrangement. Sq |
Happens reasonably frequently globally. Chevron and Exxon are def OilCo who have bought their ac (and operate too) on occasions. It makes sense when you add the cost of capital /finance. The maths usually adds up in 7 years or so so if your field has longer life than that then buy and save. Just pray your type isn't grounded.

Just talking to some MCS management a moment ago and the reporting appears incorrect. It's just a normal leasing arrangement by MCS for the client.
