Mi-24 gets a facelift, go-fast stripes
 

Mi-24LL flying testbed, as displayed at last week's MAKS show. Described as being developed in support of the Mi-X3 high speed helicopter program (presumably the successor to the prior Mi-X1 and RACHEL efforts) and due to fly later this year.

Cockpit geometry is reminiscent of one of Sikorsky's prior X2 attack helicopter concepts.

Was looking at this last week and trying to work out how much lead is in the nose to restore the CG after cutting off the front cockpit!

heli1: or now they will fly nose up !!

As Mils fly Nose down !!

An interesting Blade edge profile along with some tip thingys..?

all they need is one big ass gun!
