Heli Charter launches DHL service in UK
Just noticed that DHL service has been launched by Heli-Charter with a Bell 206B, nice one guys.
DHL in the states are using Helinet with AS355N around the LA area....strange that they use a twin and we use a single :) Cheers |
Good luck. Did this back in 1998 from Battersea to Hthrow. Late transfers of docs.( day light only!!) Hthrow causing arrival and departure delays and weather soon stopped that service. 🚁

Los Angeles is an AS355F2, not an N

According to the Financial Times, the 'trip from Heathrow's cargo terminal to a helipad on the Isle of Dogs will take 20 minutes in a helicopter, compared with the two hours a car takes to make the same journey, and a motorbike is even quicker' (sic).
Could be poor sub-editing, but if not, I'd love to see the on-bike footage of a public-road journey from Heathrow to the City in 19 minutes... |
" street hawk " ?

You have to be of a certain vintage to get that one. A fondness for crap 80s TV would also help. :ok:

Come on guys 80's TV, helicopter forum, it has to be Airwolf! might just know where there is one too!
