Osprey Incident

US Marine 'lost at sea' first casualty of operation against Isil - Telegraph

Does anyone have further news, please? From a more informed source?

Thank you diginagain. I was puzzled by the Telegraph report of ejection. My best guess is that copilot and passenger were told to jump while pilot tried to regain control. Survival of pilot and aircraft is very good news, and debrief may contribute to solution of unexplained V-22 accidents.

henry, I'll check with my Osprey friends, but doesn't Osprey usually take off with a pilot, co-pilot, and two crewmen in the back?
