Charter flights London Excel Center to Mayfair (Battersea I assume)

Hi All,

I am looking at the possibility of chartering on the 10th of November to take guests from a daytime event in Excel to the Hilton in Park Lane - I assume the nearest landing location will be Battersea.

Any recommendations for a firm that can provide me with a turnkey service ideally including the ground transport at both ends would be most welcome.

Memetic.

Get a boat!

Already looking at RIB boats too, need to cross the river to get to the pier, but the cable car is a fun option.

How many guests? How much luxury? If you're considering a RIB they might arrive in a slightly more flustered state than by helicopter.

I suspect Battersea themselves might be able to offer you advice on this. They must see it relatively frequently.

Too many potential hurdles imho.
If I was you, I'd get in touch with one of the river cruise companies and sort out a nice leisurely lunch & drinks journey.

Pick up at the jetty at the Excel and drop off at the pier at Westminster with a coach/minibus for the last mile :ok:

Are you aware that helicopters aren't allowed to land at City Airport? I'm unsure where your pickup point could be. As you say, Battersea London heliport is the closest landing point.

@shytorque, yes I knew there was no helicopter landing at LCY, not much space to play with I presume.

The quote I have in has a landing spot at Royal Albert Docks.

@SilsoeSid The RIB quote I have requires a start from North Greenwich. I am not sure the pier at Excel is readily usable - working on that.

@nowherespecial I agree the Rib ride may be a wake up. There is a more genteel high speed option with champers and nibbles.

Thanks for the thoughts all.

Memetic, I wasn't thinking about ribs, more along the lines of;
Bateaux London Corporate and Private Events
Some more links/companies;
Thames River Cruises, London
