Intellistart HUMS for Bell 206

I´m trying to find information on Altair´s Intellistart plus system for the 206 series.

I having a hard time finding a distributor. Does anyone know who sells these things now?

I used to fly a L model with this and I liked it, good system and required for some ops.

Not sur eif this is current - my understanding is that PW bought Altair's Intellistart+ system:

Thanks guy´s, sent Nexair an email. We´ll see but it seems they only support PW.

Aesir,

P&WC acquired Altair a decade ago (Altair having originally been teamed with Honeywell). I suspect the system is now managed by Pratt's DPHM team, but look forward to seeing what you find out.

Hi I have 4 Jet Rangers with Inteli Start, it is owned by P and W but sadly now un supported and no longer available, used systems do come up but make sure it's complete. Overall reliable and does its job well.

We administer the Intellistart for a operator with approximately 30 aircraft on the system. The system is now part of P&WC's WEB ECTM and is run by CAMP CAMP > Maintenance Solutions . You should find all the contact on the website.
PM me if you have problems getting the information you need.

Longbox. Do you use Turbine Tracker Altair Avionics Ground Station : Welcome as this is the support mechanism for Intellistart.

Nexair sent me an reply and yes the Intellistart is still available for the C30 and the cost is $24K. It is EASA approved.

Thank´s for the help.

I would think that was well worth the money - even just for the resale value boost in being able to demonstrate the clean bill of HUMS data.

Apologies for the huge thread resurrection, but I just wonder if anyone on here has any information on this system? Looking for a maintenance manual and/or an ICA for the system, but so far I have found nothing!

I followed the links above, but have hit a brick wall with the CAMP link posted. Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Altair went through several acquisitions and is now under the Pratt & Whitney brand. Here's a link to get you going. Scroll down the page and you'll see IntelliStart listed. A call/email to their tech support should get you your answers.

Thanks so much. I have had a painfully slow e-mail conversation with CAMP Systems over the last few weeks (where I seemed to be going round in circles), so I thought I'd try my luck with a post here: typically I had a breakthrough via another route about 10 minutes after making my post!

I have been given a contact within PWC to obtain more information, so I have just dropped them a line and I am hopeful that will yield results. It is not a supported product I can see listed on the PWC portal, but I'll see what they say...

FYI: there is another route available on FAA STCs in the event an STC holder no longer supports it or the holder is gone. Once you determine the STC number, contact the FAA ACO office listed on the actual STC certificate. They in turn will either determine the STC to be abandoned or will contact the holder and request the documents needed. In the case of an abandoned STC the STC data package will be moved into the public domain and available on request by anyone. This does not work on new installs, only existing installations which already meet the necessary permission requirements.
