Current Police/SAR op Frensham/Churt Surrey
 

Hi - Does anyone know the circumstances of the Police/SAR op that is currently ongoing in the Churt/Frensham area in West Surrey as there is nothing reported in the news? The two helo's are currently at the Wishanger Farm Strip near us after a search that has been ongoing since c19-15.

Hope all turns out well.

Update - Grindle Pioneer 300 crashed in woodland last night near Frensham pond.

Thankfully the pilot only has minor injuries.

The pilot was very lucky to get out from that alive. Judging by the nature of the damage, it appears to have landed on the tops of the trees, flipped over and fallen down through them inverted. How the pilot avoided being crushed is anybody's guess. Finger crossed that he makes a full recovery.

The tree huggers will have mixed feelings
about their newest club member.

I hope he will recover completly soon.
