Brazil B206 accident - 4th Oct - built-up area (again)
only a few weeks after an EC120 on a post maintenance test flight had a remarkably safe landing in a Brazilian street (http://www.pprune.org/rotorheads/521...st-2013-a.html), this JetRanger did not fare so well. Three of the four on board injured plus a passing pedestrian.
ANAC (Brazil's CAA) have already said that the Annual and CofA on this helicopter expired over a year ago according to their records. http://p1-cdn.trrsf.com/image/fget/c...nosantos07.jpg http://p1-cdn.trrsf.com/image/fget/c...nosantos02.jpg More pics here |
Looks like it could have fared better if some inconsiderate council worker hadn't planted a pole in the way, though.
