SAAF heli with castering wheels

A guy told me that the South African Air Force has or had a French built helicopter with 4 castering wheels for deck landing on ships.

I know what to think of this but want to hear from some helicopter guys.

Try a British built helicopter known as the Westland Wasp. The South African Navy used them from 1963 to 1990.

Sud Aviation also make the Alouette II with this wheels and we sell Alouette II & III to SAAF in beginning 1960s but I don't know if it is used by SAAF on the ship.

Was the Westland Wasp operated by 22 Sqdn in Cape Town. I think the SAAF museum still have one flying.
