EASA PPL(H) Syllabus - Spot the Difference
Just found the new PPL(H) syllabus summarised below, correct me if I'm wrong but something looks different to the JAR-FCL version. Can you spot the difference? ;)
Although its not a major change, it is something we instructors have to be aware of. If this is what the UK is adopting, then at what point do ATOs and FIs have to start using it? Well as ever no one has bothered to apply common sense to the lessons.
EOL's after first solo - intelligent radio nav, approx 90% of all non ifr helicopter's are not equipped with rnav. The remaining 10% all have it and are based at flying schools so that we can teach rnav. Approx 100 % of vfr helicopters have sat nav, what does that tell you ? Answers on a postcard.:ugh: |
The interesting bit is that whereas the exercise numbering has changed for no apparent reason for the PPL/H syllabus (it looks like it was written by a fixed wing person), the LAPL/H and the instructor course retain the old numbering. Logical or what?
