I had the pleasure of flying WOA from BN to SYD, it was very nice I thought, heavy of course with all the extras in it, surprised to see it end up spraying. It was for sale for a long time, I think it had big overhaul costs coming up. Looks like wire, strike again.

Loss of Power?
 

A database I referenced suggested that it was a loss of power that led to its demise, near Daegu, South Korea, on 21 July 2012.

Puma VH-WOA ditched around 1986. Investigation: 198600155 - Aerospatiale Puma SA330J, VH-WOA, 20km NW Karratha WA, 29 December 1986
