AStar B2 prof check in the U.S.
Does anyone out there know where to find an Astar B2 in the U.S. for a proficiency check? :ok:
|
You mean a JAA FTO in the US which has both a B2 and a TRE available for a check ride? I think that doesn't exist.
|
No, I need a flight school in the U.S. to do that based on my FAA ATPL(H).
|
Ok, schools with an AS350 are still rare, since you can do your biannual on an R22 much cheaper. Best check with some schools which do specialized training, like SRT helicopters or Eurocopter USA directly.

Eurosafety US
Check out Glen White's company:
Eurosafety International He should be able to help you out. He's a check airman for Eurocopter. Rob |
Thanks, Rob. However, meanwhile I found Helistream in Costa Mesa. Their training program is really good. Thanks for the advice though.:ok:
|
I was gonna recommend Helistream. Great guys!
|
That's right, dude. :) Helistream is highly recommendable. :ok:

ERA
What about ERA's Sim in Lake Charles Louisiana,
Must be cheaper than the aircraft, right ? |
Maybe, but I heard that the sim is not good.
