It looks like it's highlighting a huge stress point....
I thought all new 139's had long noses?
griffothefog - it's a 2008 build which AW has been using as a demo aircraft
It's a 2010 build according to G-INFO
Must be this one....

Which Olympics are we talking about here?

Must admit public data are not consistent...
AgustaWestland AW139 Production List © by: Damiano GUALDONI AgustaWestland bring AW139 to UK for London Olympics | Helihub - the Helicopter Industry Data Source My "official" sources list that SN 31133 like 2008. YOM at 700+ FH, nice helicopter by all means :ok: |
It looks like it's highlighting a huge stress point.... |
Which Olympics are we talking about here? In the OP there was the suggestion that this 'fly-through' may have been part of the up-coming Bond movie but yes, it does seem a little late for that. The a/c reg may well be a give-away when it comes to what the craft is up to. |
To me the livery looks like the standard AW livery with extra blue and red reflecting the union flag...

G-OLYM
Brilliant Stuff, that's exactly what it is !
How ironic, a helo' G-OLYM (or maybe this particular machine will be
able to get closer to the event(s) than Battersea !!!) |
Not Olympic at all - it's the new standard AW C/S. Same are applied to the training A109's at Newquay.
