PCAS on Helicopters

Hi Ppruner's,
Anyone currently using ZAON's PCAS(XRX) device? It seems to be a great tool used in the US, but I was wondering how well it works in other coverage areas, such as the African continent, and the Asian continent, specifically in Afghanistan, as this is where I would like to use it.
From the "How it works" page, it seems to be able to show any Code "A" or "C" transponder equipped aircraft that is squawking mode "A" or "C" in range, on the device, and then transfer it to a Garmin 495/496 device via a cable that they sell. Can anyone vouch for this claim from actual use of the device.

I will be purchasing this in my private capacity, and would really like to know it works before buying it.

Any info is much appreciated,

Red Ant

I have never been impressed with it to be fair... I think that it has to be perfectly level mounted and any shake from the console makes things worse.

We've always agreed though that even when its not accurate it is "an attention getter" if there is anyone nearby...
