No - too old and not Welsh enough;)
Looks like some of us arn't "Welsh enough" to even watch it!
Helicopter Rescue starts on Wednesday at 7.30pm on BBC One Wales |
don't worry it will be repeated on the "History Channel" soon enough :E
If you have Sky TV then you can go to channel 971 upwards to select BBC for any region. I mainly use this when I want to see a more in depth local news story out of my area.
It's on iPlayer. Can't vouch for the quality and content, haven't watched yet ...
Saw the first one wednesday evening, focussed mostly on the Valley Unit, and a bit about HRH William whom it seems fits quite well in amongt the rest of the guys. I did not realise that the two Welsh units at Valley and Chivenor were between them, the busiest ones in the UK. It was an interesting bit, quite enjoyed it.

They're not. Just ask somebody in Prestwick....
That was my initial thought but they did specify RAF SAR flights when mentioning that stat.
BBC2 7pm tonight for the next instalment.
...the two Welsh units at Valley and Chivenor.... |
Things happen north of Hadrian's wall as well.
Evening Express - Article - Missing kids rescued by RAF after major search |
Its a repeat. 3 programmes in total as I recall. Made for BBC wales so all slanted that way.
