Hi,
Does anyone know if a set of 7 Bristol Groundschool Issue 4 notes will still be valid and current? These generic aviation groundschool notes were used by my brother for his CAA/JAA commerical license. Tragically he was killed in a helicopter crash in 2009. So the family have a set of notes and don't know if they're current and useful to anyone sitting their UK commercial groudschool course. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ady |
You're probably best sticking them on ebay. Things like that are always useful to someone. I got over £200 for my old bristol notes/manuals.
You could give the money to charity if you didnt want to profit from it. |
Ebay is probably best as mentioned. The problem is that a new student has to go through an approved school and will get a set of notes anyway. Only if you are exempt formal training would those notes be useful to anyone, or if they just wanted a different viewpoint from the school they are already at.
You could donate them to a flying club. Phil |
Thanks for the replies.
I've offered the set to a couple of local flying schools, so may go down that route. Cheers, Ady |
