Hi,

Does anyone know if a set of 7 Bristol Groundschool Issue 4 notes will still be valid and current?

These generic aviation groundschool notes were used by my brother for his CAA/JAA commerical license. Tragically he was killed in a helicopter crash in 2009.

So the family have a set of notes and don't know if they're current and useful to anyone sitting their UK commercial groudschool course.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ady

You're probably best sticking them on ebay. Things like that are always useful to someone. I got over £200 for my old bristol notes/manuals.

You could give the money to charity if you didnt want to profit from it.

Ebay is probably best as mentioned. The problem is that a new student has to go through an approved school and will get a set of notes anyway. Only if you are exempt formal training would those notes be useful to anyone, or if they just wanted a different viewpoint from the school they are already at.

You could donate them to a flying club.

Thanks for the replies.

I've offered the set to a couple of local flying schools, so may go down that route.

Cheers,
Ady
