Employers taking a stand against individuals posting on web sites isn't new.
I have been queried at work, regarding posts I have made here. Post here, expect that others read it. Post accordingly. |
Normally the IPCC usually investigate after the police have f****d it all up in this case they seem to be investigating before the ASUs get completely f****d up.
Jesus christ even this website is trying to censor me. |
police threaten prune users
No Supprise their then, The Ploice here in the UK act more like the Gastapo every day

:E hi, hi I have been blamed too (locally), because of posting here...
Lucky me, I am self employed :ok: |
One of the reasons we left England sooooo many years ago. Police work for the people, not visa-versa. We also retain the right to remain armed so the govt can't force us into being servants of the govt. OUr current govt is getting very close to teh edge on rules of freedom, but the next election should finish culling the major offenders.
All that being said- I also tell my kids to use a little common sense when they post anything online. |
Dont worry too much the police couldn't sort their washing out unless or course its a motoring offence then there on fire
|
Next thing you know we'll have Julian Assange signing up and posting on 'Prune.
He might even set up a new webite - NPASILEAKS.com :bored: ( Not until after Thursday though if he gets bail ;) ) http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d1...onuttyMask.jpg |
Yes, someone calling themselves "IPCC" registered then posted the diatribe copied here by TC. I advised them to state what authority they had and to contact a moderator so appropriate action could be taken.
It obviously was taken - the post disappeared. I did wonder if were in UK, or China/North Korea. |

Expect the unexpected-CSI
It wont be the first time that certain ASU computers have been picked up and carried quickly out of the door by a ASU manager on a mission up north, only for them to be closely examined back at HQ by a forensic team. Its not a secret either.
Some officers were then moved after sitting in the naughty corner over accesing innocent material using a police net connection, but it was on police time etc etc.... It appears that any laptop or desktop in an ASU office that is plugged into a net socket on police time is fair game for being looked at by the squeaky beakies, especially if its up north, and the cops or pilots are commenting on various police matters. Get ready to delete! |
Got to be a wind-up ... are the police really going to get access to every user's true identity and cross-reference it to their personnel files? And who would complain to the IPCC?
Troll ... let's bring him back. :} Cheers Whirls |
Inform the police must be something they can get them fore (impersonating a IPCC person).:E
IF they signed in someone at PPRUNE must have the information as to their reg Email address, or is it an inside job:eek:, has anyone heard from Denis in the last few days |

But bobbies and civies in support jobs are being disciplined due to posts and comments on other social web sites (I see PP does not allow their names to be shown in posts), so it could happen here. But, the IPCC won't be involved, it would be individual forces who would watch and try to ID them.

If people are daft enough to have work colleaues as Facebook friends, and then have the stupidity to slag off their employer, what do they expect? Perfectly reasonable of the employer to chastise their staff in those circumstances.
But this is largely an anonymous forum and anonymity is at the discretion of the individual. Cheers Whirls |

Yep, why not,
all in case of any remained cocktail glass on your beach  |
I dont actually believe that the Police have either the manpower...or after todays announcement in the West Midlands...the experience to investigate,
People are perfectly entitled to express an opinion on PRUNE, provided they dont divulge Police Data. Hnh |
