Best Software For Keeping Track on Component Times.
Can anyone advise what the best software would be to monitor component times on your heli, where you could feed in the time variant as well as the hours etc. I know a lot of outfits simply use Excel. Is there anything more bespoke or does anyone have an excel template already made up. Thanks.

Go have look at T-data's website. They have a product called M-Trax. Not sure if would be worthwhile if you are only looking at one machine. We use it for maintenance forecasting. There is a neat function where if you know the average time flown a day you can fill this in and it will forecast th requirements that will come due.

A properly sorted Excel sheet is more than adequate, all you need to do is update the hours, the rest is automatic.

Greetings BVGS,
For not too much money and very easy to use, CAFAM is ideal. I have used this for the past 13 yrs and never had a problem with it. CAFAM - Comuterised Application for Aircraft Maintenance Mr John Dias. |
I can't tell you the best, but I can tell you the worst. Never, ever, under any circumstances, use RAMCO. It's a complete disaster. Expensive, but a disaster.

Anybody have any experience with Skybooks?
