Circle to the left?

I was driving through Alperton yesterday and saw the Virgin air ambulance (G-HEMS?) The red one any way. He landed in the car park at Sainsbury's. Question is, if the pilot sits on the right, why did he circle to land to the left? Just a question from a curious PPL/A.
Cheers all.

Thanks for the quick response. The 2 pilot option would seem to be more likely as the landing area had been taped off by the police ready for their arrival, no mean feat to clear a car park in Sainsbury's! The incident was some way away in the canal.

It will be for the medical crew to do scene management and actually eyeball where the incident is in relation to the landing site. The medics sit on the left side of the aircraft with the stretcher fit on the right.
As the Captain & flying pilot always sits on the right, he would be doing the landing. The LH seat pilot is in charge of the navigation and operations/ ambulance frequency radios. The visibility in the front of the Explorer means that the flying pilot can always land the aircraft (sometimes the LH seat pilot will open the door to clear the tail area).
