Why are they nutjobs?
Experimenters like these people, in the past, contributed to the evolution of manned aircraft.
No doubt certain types called George Cayley or the Wright brothers nutjobs.

No I'm all for it, mate. I completely agree - without pioneers in sheds we wouldn't even have composite construction today.

But that doesn't mean I'd like to try this particular one when the outermost of those little 2-strokes fails in a hover....:ooh:

While I'm one of the first to applaud innovation, the reality of failure cases has to soon be taken into account.
