Self Fly Hire in Northern Spain
 

Hello
I am trying to find somewhere in North West Spain where I can self fly hire an R44. I have found an R22 in Vigo but was really looking for an R44.
Have been over to Slaone in Mallorca a couple of times but was looking for something a little closer than Mallorca.

Have tried several internet searches and come up with a few places in the South and one in the East but nothing in the North West. :ugh: I have heard about an airfield called La Morgal in Asturias but again cant get to site with any info, or to find out if they even have an helicopters based there.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Hi everyone

I have recently registered as a user on the forum but have been reading with keen interest for several months.

I have searched over previous threads and there is some information available re my request so if I am covering old ground here please fell free to chastise me as required.

I am a PPL (H), rated on both R22 and R44 and would like to know if there is anywhere to SFH in mainland Spain, in particular the Murcia region.

I know that Sloane has an operation based in Mallorca, and that there could be restrictions regarding flying over the sea to the mainland due to over water ops training etc.

I have seen a couple of R22's flying over the area recently and they have always been heading back towards the coast, ie Mar Menor, but I have been intrigued to know of their point of departure.

Any help and feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Can anyone help with contacts for R44 SFH in Spain? I know of Fly-in -Spain but would appreciate contacts at other sites in the south of Spain.
