EH101 Cautionary Landing

Just heard that there is a EH101 in a field near Stockland Hill, Devon. TP elected to make a cautionary landing following an 'incident'. Aircraft and crew are all ok... BZ to the TP!!:ok:

Maybe he had a precaution indication in the cockpit? ;-)

A real TP or a pretend one - a MTP?

A real TP or a pretend one - a MTP
I think the clue is in the use of 'EH101' - it was obviously from Westland (so probably a 'real' one)

Quick look on the news sites gives this -

A HELICOPTER has been forced to land in a field in Membury today (June 30).

A police spokesman said the AgustaWestland helicopter made the emergency landing, around 1.30pm, due to handling problems.

He said the aircraft was not damaged and the crew were uninjured.

Police cordoned off the area in Brinscombe Lane and stopped onlookers entering the site. They left around 4pm.

The manufacturers are trying to repair the helicopter on site or else face difficulty moving it.
