I note that the "Royal" Sikorsky S-76C G-XXEA is currently being advertised for sale - at a cool 7.8 million USD.

Does this mean that Her Majesty will be from now without an aerial conveyance,or is the 1998-vitage S-76 being replaced by a new model ?

maybe Her Majesty has been waiting for the exchange rate to alter before selling - hoping that some rich yank will pay the price and then she gets more £££ for her $$$.

Odd that the US President is getting a European helicopter and the Queen has an American one.

Does it come with take off and landing rights at Kensington Palace?

President Obama might just decide to share in the suffering along with the rest of the nation in these times of hardship, so I wouldn’t put money on that.

Given that she has both a son and now a grandson who can fly the thing, I think it would make a rather delightful surprise for Christmas morning?
