so anyway, queues aside, what IS a "social issue"?

As long as I don't ask which queue I should go in, and the answer is "Far queue!!"

As to the definition of 'social issue', I think that's when you have drunken sex with a friend and she has a child. Sumfink like that, anyway.

That person deserves his/her own queue!!:E

Aha! Now we know where they got at least one of their ideas for "Little Britain".

It can't be you in the photo, Bertie. That "person" is so good looking, slim and young. And surely you aren't a natural blonde?

;)

For mine......as the queue gets longer and longer I direct people into the FAR QUEUE.

Dump the pole,

I have flown fixed wing, helicopters and SAR (ie rescue crewman)..

I think anything aviation related attracts the crabs..

I found helo pilots the most sane (or less insane).

Maybe something that arises from a social disease?

DtP - i am also puzzled by the (minority) that you mention. They do exist in other industries. Maybe the single pilot work creates less requirement for collaborative types plus many haven't been through military/large company selection.
