Has any other operator utilising this radio experiencing receiver noise and amber receive lamp on when selected to channel 00 156.000 MHz. It only happens on this frequency, I have used a spectrum analyzer to see if a stray frequency is the cause, test not conclusive.

Should anyone out there have any good ideas, please post them. NPX said that they had heard of a similar problem with a base in Alaska operating this radio and the resultant was changing the base station frequency.

With channel 00 i don't think that this is possible.

Remind me, who is the Manufacturer of this Radio?

What other Role Equipment is fitted? Do you have 'Stolen Vehicle Tracking' equipment fitted by any chance?
