Nice Wheels!
Whilst leaving the Army Air Corps Headquarters at Middle Wallop this evening I spotted a superb number plate on a Range Rover.
"A2 YNX" in a lovely script type font so it appears as "A LYNX". Very nice. Will anyone own up to it or does anyone have any others to share. :D |
One of my favourites, owned by a Bookie was A150 RAN. And a few years ago, I saw FAT 61T driven by .... you've guessed it! AT least he could be self-deprecating about his stature!

The MD of Nissan in the North East has got J4PAN!
I'd love JULI4N! So who has got P1LOT I wonder? |
There's a local lass near me, who drives around with A1 RUB........

An old girl round here has "DOR15" on a Mk11 Ford Capri.
|
My mate has got CUM 69, and yes those really are HIS initials, his middle name is Ulyses, honest!
|
There used to be a Jaguar running around Henley-on-Thames with 150BEL and another car with RAD10 1.
I once saw a taxi with 130LOX which I rather liked and a very smart Transit van belonging to a well known perfume manufacturer with the reg NO 5. |
Rub it in!
Years ago I spotted KYJ311Y. A nicely lubricated machine.
And have also seen H13NDA on a ........ You've guessed it. Amazing how the digits merge to give the right message, usually late at night, bleary eyed and very, very tired. |
once saw a land rover with the plate no L80 VER :ok:
|
does anyone know what vehicle has PEN 15 on it ?
|
I think the DVLC (as was) cottoned onto that one and never released it! :\
Cheers Whirls |
PEN 15 and PEN1S were both owned by Steve Parish, don't know if they still are he had PEN 15 on a Mercedes G wagon.

Im waiting for KN13 VEL, only another 5 years to go!!!!!!!!
Anyone know which region KN is from????? |
Kettering! But I think, if you order a car from new, you can get whatever you want (and is available) no matter where you live!
Cheers Whirls |
I've emailed the DVLA to see if I can reserve it or buy it when its released but not heard back from them!
No doubt it will go in one of their over priced auctions! |
Round here in in the Ribble Valley area we have DEN 1S, another with
MEN 1S I have seen TEN 1S in Bolton and I have SEN 1S a friend of mine has SEN15, a nice looking blonde lady drive a Soverign with D1 ANA, and a large lady drives a Range Rover with 44 DD never got close to her though, However I think the strangest I have seen was on the Gt Howard Street along the Docks in Liverpool driven by a rather large handy looking sort of man who was of Carribean origin driving a large Merc 500 with the reg N1 GAH ( I saw the irony as he approached me, always wonder if he saw my smile) but he could be called Gordon:E Peter R-B |
In our enlightened Colony, we can buy personalised plates :)
"Copter" is now surplus to requirements, at a suitable price ;) http://www.eacott.com.au/gallery/d/1...+Copter+01.jpg |
yep I know who owns that. Wont name names of course but if you snoop around flying wing over on the right hand side I think you may find it parked there.:=
|
The best one I ever saw, which made me take a long, lingering secong look was on a blue Renault Clio Williams in Macclesfield driven by a Pamela Anderson lookalike. It was B10 JOB.
