Heli incident at EGTC yesterday
Does anyone have any info on this?
PS I am a plank driver with my aircraft based at EGTC |
heard about it also - only that it was a 44, 'on it's back and surrounded by fire equipment'

This was posted on another site this morning.
"Robinson R.22 Beta G-DODR from your records as from 11:15am today it was no longer in a flyable condition as whilst hovering at Cranfield it flipped over onto it's port side and made contact with the ground, the occupants were taken to hospital and the heli was being taken away from the scene this afternoon. I like the wording "made contact with the ground"

My heart goes out to the two pilots who had the unfortunate incident. It looked very sad when we came over 20 minutes later. I hope they are both well now and are not waiting to long until they get back into the saddle.
