Not bad when you see the general downturn of the industry. |

And judging by the other thread re Robinsons in New Zealand, I'd expect that number to increase a lot as companies turn to alternative aircraft.

Can anyone tell me what job the 5A circuit breakers next to the battery perform please.
I can't find any information about their use in any of the official documentation. Many thanks. Edit: Just found the answer. |

I found this.

Thanks for that Sotiras but the diagram I posted doesn't seem to tie up with your list of breakers or have I misinterpreted it?

Well done on that one : The last G2 registered in the UK (s/n 175) is ... G-TOOO :ok: . |
Strange...
My Jr is CPL H student pilot on G2 type, in accordance to his ATO chief pilot, he is over average PPL skills, now ticking just 30+ h... |

Forgot to thumb up this, like nice safety upgrade. Many pilots were reluctant in (cloudy and/or low visibility) day use of nav lights... Hope that retrofit is possible too ;) This has been improved at the beginning of 2016. The nav lights do no more change the backlight level of the EPM. The new range of adjustment covers the day and the night ranges of the former version. The dashboard illumination has also been improved. |

would that be the same school where the Chief Pilot is an expert in long line lifting and runs courses to teach others despite never having done it for real in the field ? ;) |

Hello H500,
You're right so you have to place your orders quickly ! :) |

Years ago I was up for buying 2 think they would have been 2 nd 3 in UK or 3 and 4, not interested anymore I am afraid, will stick with the reliable old 300 ! Closer to the 500's the company also flies. |

That makes sense. |
For those debating G2 or Robbie...... I learnt on the G2, loved it. I now have 50 hours on my own 44 and feeling moderately competent. Im lucky to be surrounded by very good pilots happy to give me a tune up as I need it. There are some startling differences between the g2 and the 44 but overall I like the 44. Getting into one just as its reputation (yes Im from NZ) was further embellished caused a bit of a confidence issue but having now been in a wide range of conditions, including some pretty ugly turbulence (slow down) I'm pretty happy with it. Two extra seats, cargo pods....... so much more helicopter. The RII has power which is nice and the hydraulics..... hard to go back once you are used to them. Rotor rpm and collective stays where its put....well mannered.....and a real tail rotor....
|
Hello Ian,
Two seats for training, four for the rest. Who knows, maybe there will be a G4 soon ... But until then, enjoy your toy ! . |
sure will.... and it hasn't caught fire on me yet either! :ok:
