Off-Airport Ops in the UK

Will be coming through England next month. Never been there and have a question. Are off-airport landings permitted on private property w/out any additional approvals/permits- on a "National" level.
Rural area w/ no overflight of others during approach & departure.
This will be in a twin with full Cat. A performance.

Thanks.

Yes.

You'll just need to get the landowner's permission (although some will argue that even this isn't technically necessary. ie it's not written in the ANO anywhere. But it would certainly be courteous!)

One of those durn Yankee boys, eh? You'll be needing this rule 5 then.
Here

And it's a busy time of year outdoors - we like to roll around in the mud at rock festivals, celebrate the new Prime Minister, spend what little money we have after taxes. So beware here

Then there's all the Temporary Restricted airspace for hundreds of flying displays. Things like the Red Arrows - a fast jet team comprising what's left of the RAF. So this will be useful.

By the time you've plotted all that - there'll be about 2 places left to land. And one of those will be in a congested area - so best get permission from here.

Yes - welcome to the old country.

HeloDrvr, of course! Anyone would think our aviation rules are Draconian! :}

Cheers

The Dracons are a separate species, living in a luxury shed at Gatwick.

Tis true, Shy Torque, a luxury shed with many windows. In fact, the window cleaner drives a Porsche (its the one with the ladders on the roof rack in the car park)
