Dreaded Dauphin pitch stop limit? |
Looked fairly normal. Undercarriage collapse?

Hope everyone was okay. At 18 seconds it seems to drop suddenly and all goes bad.
I always understood that the unique "shrieking" sound of the older Dauphines/Gazelles was due to the main rotor interacting with the fenestron but this one loses the main rotor and it's still "shrieking". Also, listen to that fenestron whine initially go really high after it loses the load of the main rotor! |
