What was your job before aviation?
 

When I left school, a fair long time ago, I never thought I would end up flying Helicopters for a living.
I was a Jockey for nearly 20 years.
What did you do in your previous life ;)

Straight out of school, first solo at 18, and that was 13,000 hrs ago.:eek:

i was a geologist before i lost all sense of reason.

Professional alpine skier :cool: for 22 years.

i was a sales rep then a state sales manager for 12 years while on a private license.

quick sales job description = :ugh:

new position as a pilot = :D :D :ok: :ok:

dont miss it one bit !

Military movement controller (a little bit more than a freight forwarder). Latterly computer fixer & trainer when times got hard!

Then and now
 

I still fit Intergrated Reception Systems (TV, satellite and radio all down one cable) in appartment blocks, still chasing the dream of a low paid overworked job flying. Only 999 hours and a few bits of paper and a whole wad of cash to go.

Still an embedded software engineer, but one day...:8

Embedded in what?

I'm still a Chartered Accountant :zzz: and before that worked in high pressure physics research for National Physical Laboratory. That's not to say work was high-pressure but the oil which we cranked up to 150,000 psi.

Subsea installation engineer. But the view wasn't good enough in the back.

Embedded in digital radios just at the moment, but I have done microbiological measurement systems and model railway control systems as well; on bad days, I write Winblows drivers. In past lives, I worked as a university and college lecturer, stage lighting specialist, departmental buyer, a string of secretarial thingies, and (SCUBA) compressor operator.
