Wow

Wow would love to see that done down my local...Free drinks all night after that...ha.ha...:8

widgeon 11th Sep 2006 19:48

should the first american one have counted as the bottle was damaged. Great way to show precision flying though.

cyclic_fondler 11th Sep 2006 20:19

They should introduce that to the world helicopter championships rather than the slalom they do! Would be more fun.

CYHeli 11th Sep 2006 23:18

Nice skills.

I don't think Frank R had this in mind when he built them, but I love it.:D
Where will it end? Imagine what you might have to do in an R88?? Pour the beer into a glass? :ok:

Subtlety

Well boys & girls, the day an autonomous drone can do that is the day we hang up our flyin' boots!?

Fun Police 12th Sep 2006 01:19

that is all well and good, but what about us that prefer wine? i'd like to see them try to open a nice bottle of chianti!

Pandalet 12th Sep 2006 07:43

"My other helicopter's a bottle opener!" :}

Excellent link, ta!

kjw57 12th Sep 2006 13:47

What no twist top's in Japan???

rudestuff 12th Sep 2006 15:35

Excellent use of a helicopter as a tool - can't help thinking it was a fix though.
It looks like the tops had been removed and put back on to make them easy to remove - I only watched the first four on my dial-up connection before i got bored of waiting but it looks as though they were all "knocked off" - one even got popped off by the skid!

Hilico 12th Sep 2006 19:15

When it started, I thought he was just going to hover with the bottles in front of him then a quick sharp pitch forward and remove all the tops at once...

rudestuff 12th Sep 2006 19:16

Santa not real? I would never make up something like that!

helopat 12th Sep 2006 20:28

My fave is the 'psssht' sound (which, it seems, can be heard over the noise of the aircraft) as the cap comes off.

Grainger 12th Sep 2006 21:02

Loosened ? I don't think so. Did you see those caps fly ?

Could have had someone's eye out with that ! :=

jetflite 13th Sep 2006 02:00

If you watch it to the end. . . you'll see a few times they hit the bottles hard enough to knock a loose cap off. .

me finks they did a good job!:D

DanglyBob 13th Sep 2006 07:52

Well, it's another job to add to the list of "How do I fly and earn a living?" question....

:D

EMS R22 14th Sep 2006 05:35

Very well done:D :D

Someone should have told him they were screw tops though !

Grainger 14th Sep 2006 08:52

If you watch it to the end. . .
Good God jf, you don't mean to say you sat through the whole thing ? Please tell me you at least fast-forwarded through the adverts.

Gotta get me one of those Ninja headbands though ! :ok:
