An SH-2G Seasprite K-894 of the New Zealand Navy on 17th August 2011 carrying-out mountain training exercises (Photo: Gavin Conroy)

Wonder which Squadron this bird is from. Aside from her Kiwi roundel she sports a winged creature of some sort on her tail!

I've always wanted to 'have a go' in a Seasprite but unlikely now that Charles is gone (RIP).

Where do you suppose they install the winch on the Seasprite given that (from appearances only) it seems as though it would have to jostle for space with the 'outboard' motors!

The land of the long white cloud

I can't resist any longer.

Do you know why New Zealund is cauld the Lend of the Long White Cloud?

Response: God likes to hide hus mustakes!

OK, to add some balunce, the usual Kiwi reply uz:

Whut is the most sugnificant georgaphuc fault in Australia?
(Usually "significant" is pronounced with a "u" instud of the "a" but that almost makes rude word)
Response: Ut is above sea livil.

My apologies to my muny Kiwi friends (or is thet Ux-frunds?)

Besides, the world cup is on soon. I was in Ohaeka the day the French beat NZ in 2009 (?). Could have sworn that everyone's wife/mother/girl friend/ dog/ favourite sheep had died that night. Of course as an Aussie, I dudn't harp on the topic for more that four hours. Then I changed the subject to Golf... No ...Biskutball ...No, Cruckit... No, Teenus...No,...Bedmunton....No. Shut, whut cun I talk ubout?

Puty was thet I was not there whun the Aussies wun the cup!

I would love to be there this year with the same outcome!!!!

For the rest of the world, our two counties celebrate our veterans day as ANZAC day which stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. Pick on one, you pick on both.

Kiwis are great, thuy just speak wuth a funny excent. (Usually "excent" is pronounced with a "u" instud of the second "e" but that almost makes rude word)

Regards
