Any Bristow's pilots know?

roundwego 5th Mar 2006 19:28

Heliport, I think you might be a little bit closer to the scene of the action than you imply !!!;)
By the way, what is she doing in the top photo? It looks likes she is texting her mother on her mobile............in 1962???

SASless 5th Mar 2006 20:33

Word as I hear it....her daughter(s) are now in the cockpit of BHL 212's and 412's.

Cyclic Hotline 6th Mar 2006 02:29

The three female pilots we have now are Trinidadian not related to the lady in the pictures.

None of them want pictures posted due to security. Many kidnappings down here.

They are lovely ladies and wery qualified.

This is the future of Helo aviation.

CRM is different and developing.

That suggestion was by SASless, not me. ;)

Thanks for posting - please keep us updated with the helicopter world in Trinidad when you have time.

Pray do tell more of this need for pilots...terms & conditions and maybe an idea of the life of an offshore pilot in your neck of the woods.

Must be the young English Director's sons have all moved on to other locations then....used to be that was a requirement to obtain a posting there. Sir, you suggesting Americans have a chance to go down there without first going via Nigeria for donkey's years?

Gloria shows the boys how she earned the nickname "Brillo".

GLSNightPilot 11th Mar 2006 15:05

Heliport, I think you're right. The first pic seems to have the dress from the lower pic in the left seat of the helo. Lovely lady indeed, I haven't seen many like that in the marshes of S. LA.

SASlest:

Americans have always been welcomed here. Except those that insist on the GOM procedures. They don't seem to stay long. They seem to know the best way and that isn't ours. Steep, steep, steep approaches and towering take-offs.

Heliport:

On my next day off, I will give more details on our operation.

I havn't said much before since I don't want any of you youngsters coming after my job.

TTCAR now states that revenue flying can be done by a Crew that doesn't total more than 120 years.

Meaning: You can fly until age 63.

If I showed you a picture of my sailboat, you may, shortly, forget the pictures of the females.

Details to follow.

SASLess:

One of our lady pilots just received a phone call from a former classmate who asked:

Was that your mother?

Her reply taught me a few new words.

Using my E&E Survival Tatics, I blamed it on you and G-man. He is on leave.

If you plan on coming to Trinidad, I will help in the story.
