Legit - kids' science experiment on reaction times
Hi everyone, just thought I'd pass this on, I wouldn't normally but it's kind of fun and it's legitimate, I personally know the girl that sent me the email, and she knows the kid .... you get the idea.... so go ahead and give it a go ...

It appears to have a fatal flaw: the speed and type of connection! Wireless laptop, average well over 1 second.
Broadband desktop using wireless mouse, about 0.3 sec average Broadband desktop using space bar, about 0.23 sec average Then again, Desperate Housewives was on TV when I was on the laptop :p |
Shouldn't be anything to do with connection speed if it's a java script running on the local machine...

Good point John - a wireless mouse could offer a delay to the PC and therefore point to a factor that hasn't been accounted for - or it could be that the original hypothesis is correct...
