James Stokes

Looking to contact one of my old school chums James Stokes. His nickname at school ( Borden Grammar in Sittingbourne, Kent) was 'Jackie' but guess that he may have dropped that when he left...

He will be 52ish now. He joined the RN as a helicopter pilot in 72 so is presumably still heli flying somewhere in the world.

He was a great bloke then - ace at everything ( git...).

His mum lived in a little bungalow in Leysdown on the Isle of Sheppey - I even remember the name 'Dilcoosha' on the door.

I've done the Friends Reunited thing - he hasnt subscribed.

All the best

Bee,
If not asking too much is it a public web site to access such info? Also trying to track an aviator from distant past. All attempts thus far have turned up empty. Please PM if necessary.
Thanks, Brian

Hairyplane,

If the chap you're looking for is the one in Vancouver, I might be able to fetch an email address for you. Send me a pm with any details on your buddy, I might be able to confirm for you if it's him. If memory serves, he's currently working for my former employer.
