flying in the Bahamas
 
I am looking for info on flying in the Bahamas, ie training, self-fly hire etc. Any contacts much appreciated.

I grew up in there. Worked in Nassau for a while and on Andros.

My family is still there, I have been looking myself.

Last I heard there was a company down that way using a Bell 205, may be gone now.. If its the same folks as from the BVI they are a pretty shady crowd.....

Island Helicopters are on Paradise Island doing charters and tours with a B206 and a B222.

I think they are owned by Chet Rasberry who was based and the West coast of the US previously.
