Any interesting ideas for all that time off??

Anyone do anything interesting with it??

How practical would it be to travel the world in a landrover/ yacht in monthly bursts!!??!!!

Daft idea. Imagine - setting off in your yacht, what do you do in four weeks' time, when you have to go back "on" again?

Totally impractical - better to do six on, six off.

Six and Six is perfect...but four and four works too.

Long enough you can go somewhere in a sailboat....or long enough to really get ready to head back to work but not too long at work to burn out.

One thing is certain....the work cycle always invariably falls in the smack middle of the time period something you want to do is happening!

I work month on / month off.

For hobby in my off time I fly B-206 JetRanger :) I have my own one man operation. When I´m working the JetRanger just sits and collects dust.

Some people think I´m crazy but I love to be able to have such a great job that I want to do it in my off time also. But other than that I also fish off my boat, ride my Harley or Corvette. There is alway´s something fun to do.
