Helicopter Jobs in the North Sea
 

Hi All,

Just thought I'd raise a topic that I haven't seen much of on here. I am interested in pursuing a career in helicopter flying and since being based in Aberdeen, the most obvious route is flying for companies who service the north sea oil fields. There are 3 companies in Aberdeen which do this and I was wondering whether anyone is connected with these companies or has any advice for me. Any further advice on what the implications are of funding my own training (in terms of cost etc and where's best to do it) would be greatly appreciated. Long term, I would love to fly for the air ambulance/police so any info on that would again be extremely welcome!
