Can't see the lowlevelflight post although it shows in the thread list. Anybody know why ?

Yep, PAS 135 with crew covering until Bristow is up and running. Ultimately it will be 135’s and S76D’s out of Escravos

135's....76's....92's......ah how does one not miss the days of the clapped out old 212's that left service as scrap only to be bought...rebuilt...and put back into service with by another Operator.
How long will it take for this latest fleet to wilt under the Nigerian Environment? |
I would think most decks are way below the 135 D Value! Built for 206s
|
H135 D-12.16m B-206L 12.11 m = 2 inch. longer

More like Bell 47J’s which were the original aircraft flying the Okan fields. It’s just a matter of getting the bucket of paint out and adjusting the rating accordingly :}

Yeah I believe 212man was actually referring to the deck weight rating which has miraculously increased each decade they have spent in the water

Thread drift for a moment...........
Back in 99/00 I did a few months' night standby for Chevron in a 212. Drinking Coke in Mama Lulu's drew attention ! They used us for the large platform crew changes before letting us go back to Warri in the mornings. Landing on the jackets was actually demanded by a particularly obnoxious Aviation Supervisor who seemed to have an axe to grind with Bristow. He was so insistent our fairly Gung Ho MD had to go to Lekki to get him to lay off. NEO |
