Port Harcourt. Get your CV's in quick. But there are far more openings for legal types than aviation chaps!

Either it's a replacement for Addax or there is a new one coming up ? Surprising as they have plenty of National pilots who are 412 rated and the NCD watch every expat quota slot.

Have Caverton started at Chevron yet ? The publicity photos of their new fleet for Escravos were everywhere.

PAAN is no longer in Escravos. All 407s are now back in the States. 2 of the worn out 412's have been re-positioned to PH. Probably for a pointless exercise. The job positing is most likely bull****, as they just laid off a whole bunch of 412 pilots, and then posted for 412 pilots. Who knows why, as no one will ever understand WASBU. The entire Bristow operation seems to be slowly collapsing. Good luck with those that are still there.

I may be wrong but I thought WASBU no longer existed? |
I think it is IBU (International Business Unit) that no longer exists. WASBU now operate all Africa region contracts - if Bristow have any. IBU used to look after the Statoil Tanzanian contract.

Bristow’s operations are organized in two primary geographical hubs in key areas of business, Europe and the Americas |
I must have blinked ;)

One reshuffle after another; apart from the confusion to staff, contractors and clients what is actually achieved by them ? A few redundancies among the lower echelons but still a massively inverted triangle of management.

I suspect things are likely to change in Bristow Nigeria (again). The contraction of their operations and the seeming refusal of the remote senior management to even visit and try to understand the situation will result in another cull at the sharp end and perhaps some SMT changes.
The Houston people will portray it as another restructure and keep their jobs, perks and options. And so the wheel turns........... Am I being too cynical ? ;) NEO |
Interesting local news story. Great picture of a helicopter as well.

As my Mother (God rest her soul) used to say, it'll all end in tears..........

Like the picture caption of the “parked helicopter” which looks like a Twotter! |

Neo, we had a contract with AGIP, a S76 out of NAF base for about a year, I think in 2013, we had to stay overnight at AGIP base. And way back in the late 1980'S we had a contract out of Agip base with two S76A for AGIP energy. Bill Vaughn and The Ginger pilot that ended up in QC.

I think that, as the former Base Manager, that NEO knows what he is talking about. I believe it is a technicality and that BHNL weren't in a full contract but using short term work orders.....

Thank you. Although Grunt92 is correct about the 80s.
