AOC received by CHC. Let the migration begin. AOC received by CHC. Let the migration begin.
Great, I'm sure lots of pilots will be leaving to fly the ...... :confused: on the ..... :confused: contract. With a superb new operating base in Port Harcourt :} and an easy access to that enormous maintenance facility in Snake Island, they should soon be taking all the new contracts just announced :bored:.

SASless, it's only companies classed as 'indigenous' which can get away with brown envelopes these days. I'm sure that now CHC is an American company they'd never be involved in anything shady :=;)

FORMATION OF ATLANTIC AVIATION CREATES NEW FORCE IN NIGERIA HELICOPTER SERVICES
Wednesday November 7th 2012 - Jagal Group
Jagal Group announced the operational start-up of its subsidiary, Atlantic Aviation, a helicopter-transportation company providing services to Nigeria's oil-and-gas industry. Atlantic Aviation is supported by CHC Helicopter.

Atlantic Aviation has been issued an air-operating certificate and has already established a permanent base on Snake Island, Nigeria, with state of the art facilities and hangarage. Atlantic Aviation is currently developing an operational hub in Port Harcourt that will serve the Niger Delta region.

Twin engine medium aircraft (Sikorsky S76C+ helicopters) are already in country, soon to be followed by several of the Agusta Westland AW139 helicopters that are favoured by the oil and gas industry. With this fleet of medium-lift helicopters, Atlantic Aviation will serve all of the offshore operators in Nigeria with sufficient range to access deepwater rigs and installations.

"We are proud to have set up this world-class helicopter services company,” said Anwar Jarmakani, chairman of Jagal Group. “Harnessing the safety and quality standards from the global arena and being able to offer superior services to the Nigerian market. As Atlantic Aviation grows, we intend to develop our talent to deliver international standards here at home."

Like I said before, I'm here for the dough like the majority of the guys here. Well, seems like Bristow has gotten just like Aero and Caverton now cos the dough sure ain't arrived in the bank this month :\:mad:

Oh yeah, and this Aetna cr@p sure ain't working out, just ask the guy we sent out last week what he thinks :eek:

Bristow Paying Late Just Like Caverton

Wow, WTF is happening :confused::mad:. I thought I was the only one who hadn't been paid but now its pilots, mechanics and I'm trying to see if theres a common factor, like Americans, Tea Bags, Saffers, pilots, mechanics, but I dont know. All I know is there's a lot of us who came here for the money because of AIDS (Aviation induced divorce syndrome) and unlike the senior guys and managers we operate to very tight financial deadlines and this $hit is costing us $$$$ in financial charges :mad:. Bristow better not just think they can shrug this off. we want our money, explanations and apologies :\

pohm1 1st Dec 2012 18:08

Mine went in on time, it may be a banking issue, depending upon which of the obliging offshore institutions you use.

I have worked for the above organisation for 27 years and one of the few thing I have not been screwed over on is the last day of the month event!

Well lucky for you, because it looks like there's a whole bunch of us who have. Talking to the Caverton guys, it looks as if the nationals get paid on time, expats often late. Maybe Bristow figures thats the way to go now too

griffothefog 1st Dec 2012 19:13

Alien,

That's horse **** mate...:=

I have been paid by the 23rd of each month for the last 6 months by Caverton.

Get a life, or get your facts straight :{

Alien Woe 1st Dec 2012 19:54

griff in the fog,

Lucky you! We have guys who have joined Bristow because they never got paid on time by Caverscam. Enjoy your time as an employee for the African centre of excellence - I guess it'll look very impressive on your CV if you ever decide to leave for the real world :ok:

griffothefog 2nd Dec 2012 06:16

Alien,

Why would I possibly want to leave the centre of excellence, when they provide me with such modern toy's to play with in this crazy playground we call home from home :eek:

When the pay don't come I'll be sure to get me coat and head back to the "real world", but at the moment it's just too much fun... :ok:

Enjoy flying them old crates and stay safe..

soggyboxers 2nd Dec 2012 11:57

Oh 'woe' is me :} .

What's all the fuss? If this happens in a company like Bristow you can be sure it's not deliberate :=. NatWest Bank had huge computer problems earlier this year when it upgraded its systems. Whatever the actual problem it'll get sorted out by Monday :ok:.

griff,

What's old-crate-ish about the S92?
