Hi there,
I haven't started any flight training yet, still weighing up my options! My question is this: after gaining a CPL, and say landing a job flying for private owners (i.e setting up a business doing this- claim VAT back on training, if VAT registered). What are the requirements for this, i.e do I need an AOC, insurance-what sort etc. Obviously a type rating is needed on each aircraft?? Aerial photography- do you need an AOC for this?? I read in a book that you don't need an aircraft registered for aerial works so long as you don't have a mount for the camera, is this True?? What other types of work is available to a fresh faced CPL?? Many thanks Spinningtop. |
Hi Spinningtop
You'll find the answers to all these questions if you use the 'Search' facility. Some answers are in threads you've started or in which you've participated. I understand your enthusiasm but the questions are just a little premature. Far better to concentrate on your A levels and read the forums in your spare time to learn about the industry.
