All ya'll best slow down and start thinking carefully about what you are going to post.

If you cannot figure out which seat the Pilots were sitting in.....I would. suggest everything following that small rather insignificant detail... your assumptions are not going to be thought very credible.

As to the clairvoyant making posts about what the Pilots saw or did not see....what they were thinking....and why they did any specific thing....well...I suggest you wait till you know what the heck you are talking about.

Stick to the "facts" and the "evidence" before solving the puzzle based upon pure conjecture.

That old Greek Proverb of "I should smell my hand and know what you are thinking!" holds true here folks.

You don't know....pure and simple.

It is going to take a formal investigation to come up with those kinds of answers with any sort of reliability.

Heard it was 2 x EC/H130s which would possibly explain 3 fatal and 13 injured

ABC News update:

Queensland emergency services are responding to a major incident involving two helicopters at Main Beach on the Gold Coast.

Early investigations indicate that two helicopters came into contact with each other, Queensland Police said.

One managed to successfully land — a Sea World logo could be seen on the helicopter.

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) said the incident occurred at 1:59pm.

Thirteen patients are being assessed at the scene, QAS said.

Wreckage can be seen at the scene — a small sand island on the Gold Coast Broadwater — with emergency service helicopters and police boats attending.

Sea World Drive at Main Beach has been closed, with motorists and pedestrians advised to avoid the area.

Four helicopters are currently listed with Sea World on the Australian register. A pair of EC130B4, VH-XKQ and VH-XH9, which came onto the register as recently as 2 and 3 Nov 2022 respectively and which appear to be the helicopters involved in the collision. The others are both AS350B2, VH-SWL and VH-SWX, which had been in a different (blue) paint scheme.

There are more witness quotes in this news item:

https://thenewdaily.com.au/news/stat...sh-gold-coast/

Update: In that link they quote Jonathon James Spagnol on Facebook: “...Look like one went up and one was coming back in. Chopped the back off the other landed on the sand bar...,”. That account is consistent with the entire separated Fenestron and vertical stabiliser of the more severely damaged EC130 seen on ABC TV news footage lying close to where the other damaged EC130 had landed.
