Shot these two H125s with MBR Helicopters up in the Colorado mountains recently.

Always fun shooting up in the jungles of Papua New Guinea. Here a BK drops off workers on a seismic project.

Kermit in Qatar - a 902 that used to be used for HEMS work in Doha.

Few images from a shoot I did with Bristow Helicopters first S-76D long time ago down in the GOM. Had a Bell 407 as a camera ship and was a long long way over open ocean sitting in the open door of the 407. Swear I saw a lot of sharks out there

Had a few people ask me if I would post some of my pics from the trips to Afghanistan over the years. Now that everyone is out of there am happy to do so so will start posting some showing both the aircraft ops as well as some of the other sights of the place. Hope you enjoy them.

Throughout my various trips to the sandpit the crews always obliged when it came to shooting some air to air pics. This was one of the US State Dept INL Air Wing Huey IIs on our way back from the Helmand Valley.

This was one of the FOBs we landed at to top off with fuel before heading back to Kandahar.

The RAF Hercs were in and out of KAF a lot and I would always snap a few pics of them.

An Arizona based Apache that came into Tarin Kowt when we were there delivering some freight in the Chinook.

Longbow Apache taxying back down to the QRF area at Kandahar.

US Army Dustoff UH-60 about to head out and pick up an IED patient. These guys flew a LOT every day.

Another Apache taxying back in on the ramp at Kandahar.

Bunch of younger kids near one of the villages we were at as the Afghan National Police were cutting down the poppies.

Couple of village elders discussing world events.

This guy made me laugh each time we went out there - preferred to use RPGs instead of an AK. Bigger is better.

Ended up chatting to these kids a few times. Couple of them spoke really good english.

RAF C17 coming into Kandahar

Never thought sitting on an SUV full of RPGs was a good idea but this guy didnt seem to mind.

Walking out to the poppy fields with the crews before they started cutting down all the poppies - really upset the Teletubbies.

Some of our minders in the poppy fields.

Had to get the selfie with my two minders - their job was to keep me safe - well at least try

ATV towing metal bar was easiest method to destroy the poppy fields.

One of the Afghan National Police guys keeping an eye out for the Teletubbies.

Few images from one day when our US State Dept INL Air Wing Huey II took a bunch of shots from the Teletubbies. Seems they werent happy having all their poppy fields destroyed.

Privately owned AW139 I shot in the UK a while ago.

Always fun seeing what backdrops you can find while shooting with Nautilus Aviation on the Great Barrier Reef.

Fun shoot with the crews at SDG&E. Went out to a reservoir as they were doing some training. Took a few attempts to have them lined up like this.

An oldie when shooting with GFS in Hong Kong back when they had the Puma. The team from Securitie Civile were there to do some testing with the drop test patterns.

From a recent shoot with friends S-76C++ here in NZ. Flying around the southern alps shooting air to air on a great day is always a bonus.

Mike Uniform was a legend in its own lifetime and then in another lifetime and now creating legends across Ireland. Originally, when Bristow got the Stornoway contract back in 1987, a succession of Sikorsky S-61N were used during the first couple of years until G-BIMU came along and it remained the principal SAR aircraft there until Bristow lost the contract to CHC in 2007. In dusty drawers across the world, and in obscure corners of the internet, there are faded photographs of fresh-faced young versions of Bristow managers and chief pilots when they were cutting their SAR teeth on the controls of Mike Uniform or Sumburgh's Oscar Charlie.

CHC introduced the Sikorsky S-92A at Stornoway and Sumburgh and capitalised on the goodwill built up over many years in the island communities and adjacent mainland toward the callsigns Mike Uniform from Stornoway (Lewis) and Oscar Charlie from Sumburgh (Shetland) by continuing those callsign with G-CGMU and G-CGOC. The above aircraft is the result of that change.

(After CHC lost the contract to Bristow in 2013, this second Mike Uniform became EI-ICU operating on the Irish Coastguard contract.)
